Day-by-day itinerary
How the trip works day by day — from the meeting in Irkutsk to the airport transfer.
Day 1. Arrival and the Circum-Baikal Railway
Meeting in Irkutsk and transfer to Baikal. The Circum-Baikal Railway by hovercraft: old tunnels and galleries, shoreline views and a picnic lunch on the ice. Check-in at a hotel in Listvyanka, dinner and rest.
Day 2. Listvyanka — Maloe More
Transfer to Maloe More across the Tazheran steppe with stops. Ethnic program: a visit to a Buryat family, traditions, the yokhor dance and a tasting of Baikal delicacies. Welcome on Olkhon and check-in at the base.
Day 3. North of Maloe More
Breakfast and out onto the ice by hovercraft. The islands (including Ogoy), clear ice and hummocks, photo stops, lunch on the ice and Cape Khoboy. Along the way — the Shamanka rock. Return to the base.
Day 4. Southern Olkhon — Irkutsk
Breakfast, ice landscapes of southern Maloe More, Ogoy island, activities and photo stops. Transfer back to Irkutsk, check-in and rest.
Day 5. Airport transfer
Breakfast and free time. Transfer to the airport and departure home. See you again on Baikal!
